But it's not. It's the real deal. Listverse.com is a website that pays people to create lists. The high payout will ensure that people will participate and create quality lists.
So What's The Catch?
There are some rules. Here they are:
- Must be original - do not copy other lists and submit them as if they are yours.
- Must be 1500 words or more. This comes out to about 150 words per item.
- Although you are allowed to write about anything you want, you should try to focus on topics that aren't heavily covered as this means there won't be too much competition. Of course, if it is a topic that no one cares about, it probably won't get accepted.
That's basically it. My suggestion is to read through several of the lists that have been accepted to get a feel for what others are writing about. This can help guide you as to what you should write about. But remember, don't copy.
Another Tip
If they don't accept your submission, continue submitting lists until they do. Also, the ones that were not accepted, try and enhance them (or look at them in a different light). Remember, if you submit 20 lists and 5 get submitted, you have yourself $500.
