Many people wish to find ways to get paid online. But this also can be frustrating. There is so much noise about how to do this or do that to make money online. That is why I created this site, to help people who are looking for get paid programs that actually have to potential to getting you paid.

I decided to take it a bit further, however. I am giving you the Get Paid Road Map to Success!

Is it possible to define a road map to online success? Yes but it is nothing like you've ever seen. In a nutshell it can be broken down into a series of steps to take that serve to increase your chances of success.

Of course, it all depends on your willingness to learn as well as your willingness to take action. All the programs in the world can't help you with that. You have to do that on your own.

Overview

The key to success is balance. You need to have assets that will generate income for you early on. At the same time, you need to be developing longer term assets that will bring in residual income. The balance comes in not trying to do too many things at once.

By assets, I mean web entities such as Kindle books, or blogs that make money, etc.

There are really two types of methods of making money (at a high level). They are as follows:

  • Exchanging Hours For Dollars
  • Passive Income

Of these two, which do you thing most people would choose. Obviously, we would like to have the opportunity to earn passive income. It should also be obvious, all things being equal, that creating passive income streams takes more work, and are never guaranteed (although one could argue no job is safe these days either which means there's no guarantee with that.).

Earning Early On

Exchanging hours for dollars gives us a way of bringing in the income to survive, all while we are building up our long term assets. When coupling the short term with the long term income, an unintended consequence also surfaces.

We are not putting all of eggs in one basket.

In other words, when our long term passive income streams start to kick in we can back off a bit on the shorter term, labor intensive activities. But we should always be prepared should those passive income streams dry up. We should always be able to find some kind of hours-for-dollars arrangement to get us through the tougher times.

I've seen it all too often. People try to shoot for the moon by developing their long term strategy and don't do anything to earn money while that is happening. Sure, it can work out in the long run. But it can also make it so you run out of money before you get to the point where the passive income kicks in. Besides, there is no guarantee that the long term passive income plan is going to work and even if it does, often you have no way of knowing when it's going to finally start working.

The Publishing Business as an Example

Here is one way that you can not only earn passive income but you can use what you learn to help others do the same. You can get into self publishing. The more assets you have in the publishing space, the higher your chances are for residual, passive income to become a reality. But you can also take what you have learned and you can charge others to help them do the same. This would be an example of exchanging hours for dollars.

So early on you would be doing two things - creating books and magazines, etc., that will give you the potential future earnings. Then helping others by either teaching them how to do it or by doing it for them. This brings in short term income that can help you meet your living expenses.

Publishing is not the only way to accomplish this. Another example would be developing a blog that compensates via affiliate marketing. This is the long term potential passive income stream. In order to fund it in the short term, you could charge for things like creating marketing videos or sales pages, etc.

Memberships

Another great way to bring in long term passive income is by creating a membership website (or two or three). Training websites fit well within this model. In fact, some of the training could be sold to bring in the short term income that you need to get by.

Marketing and Promotion

One aspect of any business type that you choose is that you will need to pay attention to the marketing and/or promotion of the business itself. And make no mistake, this will take time and effort to do so. The biggest mistake is that people don't balance this as well. They either spend too much time on marketing or not enough.

Pick a Direction

No matter what types of short and long term business entities you choose, try to focus on a few and build those up. What tends to happen is people jump from business to business (guilty as charged) and never give the businesses that they first started a chance. This usually leaves people overwhelmed and is the leading cause of people quitting online businesses.

How to Get Started

Because there are many ways to accomplish what I have told you about, i.e., short term income vs. long term passive income methods, I want to help by giving you the easiest ways to get started. The way I would go about this is to give it a try and see if it's right for you.

When I say give it a try though, you should really make every effort to make it work. The two legs that I really believe you can easily get started for both short term and long term are:

  • Short Term: Video Marketing
  • Long Term: Affiliate Marketing / Blogging (use this link to get more information).

Video Marketing

Okay, you've never created a video before, let along a marketing video. No worries! I've got you covered. You just need the right tools coupled with the right kind of training.

Take a look at the following page. It shows you just how easy creating professional videos can truly be. Here is the link:

Now you will need to find people to sell these videos to but this is easily done by setting up profiles on forums and social networks like LinkedIn and Facebook.  And you will need to build up a portfolio of videos to show people what you've done.

There is often a chicken-or-the-egg type of situation when people first start out doing video marketing. How can you get customers if you don't have any examples of what you've done for other clients? Well, there is a way to circumvent this whole situation. Contact two or three businesses and offer to do videos for them for free. In return, they will give you a good reference and you will have a place where you can show the videos that you've created.

Affiliate Marketing

This is the leg of your business that is going to probably take more time to develop to become profitable. If you are not really familiar with the concept of affiliate marketing, or perhaps you've heard of it but haven't really done anything with it, there is help here as well. I will be pointing you to some seriously incredible training that will explain the concept, show you how to get a website created, and what to do to get your website ready to start earning commissions. Here is a link that describes the training program I am referring to:

http://www.getpaidbootcamp.com/wealthy-affiliate-evalution

What's fantastic about this program is you get a full fledged training program that you can participate in for no cost. They do have an advanced program that costs more but I would advise signing up for that until you have gone through the starter (free) version. This will give you the necessary tools to get your business where it needs to be.

As an aside, there are several members who are successful and have never upgraded!

Members that upgrade tend to obtain success much quicker as they have access to many more tools. But it is never required.

Is This the Only Path to Success?

There are plenty of paths people can chose to implement the two legs, i.e., short term income and long term passive incomme. But they are probably two of the easiest and least expensive ways to approach this concept. I mention them because they are both something that you can begin right away.

For instance, if you don't have a website, you can grab a free one (including hosting) here:

This could help for both the short term and long term money generation methods. And remember if you later to decide to use other websites, your website the you create here will remain yours indefinitely. So it can simply be viewed as another way to get traffic.
